Description
The Quay includes a slipway, a bollard, and several flights of steps. It features a stone rubble retaining wall with rough stone coping. The slipway has rough stone paving located outside No 37, and there is a flight of stone steps running parallel to the quay outside No 19. Additionally, there is a steep flight of steps at the angle between the main quay and the northwest breakwater, along with narrow inset steps by Nos 8, 19, and 33. A cast-iron bollard is situated to the north of the slipway outside No 37. The quay wall is higher and curves after the slipway, with the northwest end returning as a breakwater at a right angle. The breakwater features a rubble wall with stone slab coping on the north side, and the face that slopes towards the water is made of stone rubble.
