Description

37 Quay Street is a two-storey house built with stone rubble walls and a slate roof. It features a stone rubble stack on the left end and a shared, stucco-clad stack on the right. The ridge and eaves of this house are higher than those of the adjacent properties at Nos 33 and 35. The building has a three-window range with 4-pane sash windows throughout. The upper windows are smaller than those on the ground floor, which are positioned on either side of a central doorway that has a 20th-century half-glazed door and a plain overlight above. All openings are topped with slightly cambered brick heads, and there is a gable over each of the upper storey windows.
