Description
Solway House is a semi-detached house featuring colour-washed roughcast cladding and an imitation slate roof, with small brick end stacks—one rendered and the other shared. The house is two stories tall and has a three-window range, with the windows positioned relatively close together around a central doorway. To the left, there is a small, two-storey recessed service wing that includes a door in the inner bay and two windows in the outer bay, one small window located above a slightly larger one. Additionally, to the left, there is a narrow forward-projecting outshut with a doorway in the wall formed therein. The property has 20th-century plastic windows and 20th-century half-glazed doors throughout. Since 1978, the original four-pane sash windows and the grouted slate roof of the service range have been removed.
