Description

Well Cottage, also known as Bwthyn Ffynnon, is an end-terrace cottage built from stone rubble and topped with an imitation slate roof. It features a brick chimney on the left end wall and a shared rendered chimney on the right. The cottage stands two storeys high and has a double-fronted design. The upper storey has small, square 6-pane sash windows, positioned with their heads directly under the eaves. On the ground floor, there are 12-pane sash windows on either side of a central doorway, which has a ledged door. The ground floor openings are adorned with brick voussoirs, with the doorway being flat and the windows having a slight camber. The left end wall is windowless. In 1978, the roof was corrugated, and the front wall was whitewashed.
