Description

This is a two-storey house located at 1 Glyn-y-Mel Road, built with whitewashed roughcast and featuring a slate eaves roof adorned with decorative red crested ridge tiles and red brick end stacks. The house has a three-window front, with segmental headed 4-pane hornless sash windows, although three of the five are 20th-century copies. Each upper window is topped with a steep small eaves gable that includes fretted bargeboards, a wooden finial, and a pendant. The broad central door has a segmental arched head and is a 20th-century door with sidelights and an overlight. The openings have plain rendered plinths and surrounds. The end walls feature overhanging verges. To the right, there is a short low wall attached to the house, which includes a segmental arched doorway with a plank door leading to a side passage.
