Ty'r Nant is a house featuring whitewashed roughcast with a slate roof and brick end stacks. It has paired brackets supporting the overhanging eaves and stands two storeys tall. The front facade includes two full-height two-window bows on either side of a central window and door. The upper storey has 12-pane sash windows, while the lower storey features full-length 15-pane sashes. The entrance consists of a six-panel door topped with a traceried overlight. To the left, there is a later addition, a lower service wing with a brick end stack. This wing has two horned 12-pane sashes on the first floor, one similar window at mid-height to the right, and a ground floor tripartite window with a 4-12-4 pane configuration to the left. The right end wall of the main house has a 12-pane sash window on the first floor to the right. The building has overhanging verges and a parallel rear wing with a red brick west stack.
