Description
Glyndwr House is a two-storey, three-window house built of whitened brickwork, topped with a slate roof and featuring brick end stacks. The right side is rendered, while stone quoins and moulded eaves add detail. The west gable end is pebble-dashed, and there is another building attached to the east.
The central entrance has a round-arched doorcase that contains a recessed panelled door with a fanlight above. To the right of the door is an 8-over-8-pane hornless sash window, which has a high square hoodmould and a stone sill. To the left, there is a large late 19th-century four-pane window with moulded reveals, including quatrefoil bosses at the top, and a square lintel. The upper storey windows mirror those on the right side below, featuring 8-over-8-pane sashes with high square hoodmoulds, although the central window is blind.
On the south gable end, there are double panelled doors set under a high hoodmould, which is offset to the right. The rear of the house has two cat-slide extensions, also made of whitened brickwork. The western elevation includes a 16-pane sash window on the ground floor and a casement window with a hoodmould above it. The rear features four-pane horizontal sliding sashes.
Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection.
