Description

Towy Home Decor is a late 18th century townhouse that was remodelled in the 1890s. It is built in a Late Georgian style and is three storeys high with a three-window front. The exterior is colourwashed plaster over a rubble core, with a gently pitched slate roof and plain eaves supported by paired brackets. Rendered stacks are also present.

The second floor has Victorian sash windows, and a continuous sill band runs along the building. The central portion of the first and ground floors projects slightly. The first-floor windows have moulded, flat hoods, plain architraves, and Victorian sash windows. A similar treatment is found on the ground-floor left window, which features plate glass.

The doorway is offset to the left of the centre and features a moulded cornice supported by scrolled console brackets and sunk panelled pilasters. Above the panelled door is a rectangular fanlight. A moulded, flat hood covers a large shop window to the right. Modern canopies are also present. The building was originally constructed with a pediment effect and a Venetian window.
