Description
Peppercorn is a two-storey building featuring six windows, constructed with colourwashed plaster over rubble. It has a steeply pitched slate roof with three flat-topped dormers that are fully integrated into the roof, complete with lead cheeks. The windows include two-light, eight-pane casement windows, and there is a modillion eaves cornice.
On the first floor, there are alternating narrow sash windows and three canted oriel windows. The tops of the oriels are linked to the eaves cornice, and the sashes have narrow side sashes, while the other windows also have eight panes.
The ground floor has a large shopfront on the right side, featuring a moulded cornice above a plain fascia and panelled end pilasters. There is a canted recessed central entrance with a rectangular fanlight above a half-glazed door, flanked by two-light shop windows. The shopfront is adorned with turned rods and arched heads.
To the left, there is another doorway separated by paired pilasters, with a rectangular fanlight over a half-glazed double door. A further shop window is located to the left of this entrance, also featuring a moulded cornice over a plain fascia and a three-light window with turned rods and arched heads.
At the extreme left, there is a cambered doorway with plank double doors.
