Description
Hill House, dating from around 1800, is a two-storey house with three windows. It features colourwashed plaster over rubble and has a plinth. The roof is gently pitched and covered with slate, with rendered stacks. To the right, there is a gabled dormer that contains a 12-pane sash window with small-paned glazed cheeks. The eaves cornice is dentilled.
The windows have been replaced with plastic. The central doorway is framed by a doorcase that has an open pediment hood supported by brackets, with junk panelled pilasters and a fanlight above a modern door.
In front of the house, there is a raised paved area, and original spear-pointed railings with urns on the stanchions.
