Description

Midland Bank Chambers is a three-storey building dating from around 1850. It features a curved convex front elevation and is constructed of colourwashed plaster on a rubble base. The roof is moderately pitched and covered with slate, with boarded eaves supported by brackets that flank the windows. The building has Victorian sash windows on the first and second floors. There is a doorway on the left side of the ground floor, which has a modern door, while the right side of the ground floor contains an unsympathetic modern window.
