Description
The Midland Bank is a single-storey building located on a corner site, featuring three bays and a steeply pitched slate roof. The entrance bay is positioned at the corner and is highlighted by a segmental open pediment supported by pilasters, which has an inset husk garland above a panel. Flanking the entrance are balustraded parapets, and there is a continuous modillion cornice above a sunk panelled entablature with plain triglyphs.
The entrance bay is channelled and includes a tall round-arched doorway with a sunk chamfered architrave, a fielded keystone adorned with guttae, and a plain fanlight above panelled double doors. To the right, there is a two-window bay that is canted back. This section features a channelled end pilaster and a plinth, along with tall round-arched windows that have fielded keystones with guttae, set between Tuscan pilasters and fitted with marginal glazing bars.
