Description

This is a late 18th-century townhouse built on a 17th-century site in Penryn. The front is rendered with roughcast over rubble, and the roof is covered with asbestos slate, featuring a brick end stack on the left and a cast-iron ogee gutter. The building has a double-depth plan and is linked to a house at the rear. It is two storeys high with a two-window front. The windows are 20th-century replacements with sixteen panes and horns. A 20th-century top-glazed door is located on the right side. At the rear, there is slatehanging to the first floor of a wing, along with 18th or early 19th-century casement windows with glazing bars, and an 18th-century Venetian window on the first floor rear of the wing. Inside, the through-passage has dado panelling and a two-panel door.
