Description

29 Broad Street is a town house built in the early 19th century on a site that dates back to the 17th century. The exterior features a rendered finish that replaces the original stucco on a rubble front, and it has a dry slate roof with a brick stack on the left side. The building has cast-iron ogee gutters. It has a deep plan that includes a rear wing on the left-hand side and a through-passage opening on the right. The house is two storeys high with a two-window range. The windows are 20th-century sixteen-pane horned sashes. The entrance features a fluted pilastered doorway with a six-pane door and a plain overlight, along with an opening doorway at the far right that has a round-arched head. The interior has not been inspected.
