Description

No. 24 Broad Street is an early to mid-19th century town house in Penryn. The exterior is rendered over original rubble construction and has a dry slate roof with a rendered stack on the right side. The building has a deep plan, including a wing at an angle to the rear. It is three storeys high and has a two-window front. The windows are 20th-century twelve-pane horned sashes. The original front door remains on the left side, featuring panelled pilasters, a moulded entablature with a cornice, panelled reveals, and a six-panel door. The interior was substantially renovated around 1980, but retains the original staircase and principal structural features.
