Description
This is an early 19th-century townhouse built on a 17th-century site in Penryn. The exterior is rendered on a rubble base, with a stucco plinth, frieze, and end pilasters. The pilaster on the right features egg and dart ornamentation. The roof is covered in asbestos slate, with two brick stacks running along the axis. The building has a deep plan, including a service wing behind the right side. It is two storeys high and features a symmetrical two-window façade. The upper floor has late 19th-century four-pane horned sash windows. The ground floor has older two-pane hornless sash windows. A central, pedimented doorway contains a three-pane door with a top glazed panel. The interior was not inspected.
