Description
19-20 Nott Square is a terraced property that now functions as a shop with accommodation. Originally, it consisted of two separate buildings, both featuring painted stucco exteriors and slate roofs with boxed eaves. The structure has three storeys. No 19, located on the right, is a two-window near pair with No 18, while No 20 on the left is set back and has been significantly rebuilt, presenting as a one-window range. No 19 has restored 12-pane sash windows on the upper floors and on the ground floor to the right, along with a wide doorway featuring a late 20th-century pilastered timber doorcase to the left, which includes modern glass doors. In contrast, No 20 appears to have been almost entirely reconstructed in the late 20th century, showcasing a 6-pane sash window on the upper floor above a two-storey opening, which is part of a late 20th-century two-storey plate-glass lean-to.
