Description

61 King Street is a three-storey building featuring painted stucco and a low-pitched roof with dentilled eaves. The front has a two-window range of sash windows, which were boarded over at the time of inspection. The ground floor has an earlier 20th-century shopfront that includes a recessed central door and plate glass windows with a base of glazed tile. There are mirrored inserts in the left corner and leaded lights above. The leaded lights have moulded glass margin lights, with some red glass included. Above the large half-glazed door, there is a leaded overlight. The entry and shop have a tiled floor made of buff and black tiles. The rear wall is rendered. The ground floor has been altered, while the upper floors were not accessible for inspection.
