Description
3 Tower Hill is a terraced house that features a lower roofline compared to the adjoining houses at Nos 1 and 5. The exterior is finished in painted stucco with a slate close-eaved roof and it has no chimneys. The house is two storeys tall and double-fronted, showcasing two 4-pane sash windows on the upper floor, a raised band between the floors, and a larger 4-pane sash window on the ground floor to the left. There is a 20th-century door located to the left of centre. To the right, there is a renewed bowed shop window, which is set further in than the window above. This shop window consists of 24 panes and is supported by renewed console brackets that carry a curved shelf top with modillion brackets. At the rear, there is a roughcast long wing facing Dark Street, which has been much altered and features 20th-century windows on the attic and ground floor, as well as double doors in the basement. The interior has not been inspected.
