Description

No 12 Deer Park is a terraced house, part of a row of five painted stuccoed houses with slate roofs and chimneys on the right. The house has two storeys, a basement, and an attic, and is two bays wide. The facade is framed by raised pilaster strips on either side, a raised band above the basement, and a raised plain parapet. There is one gabled dormer with a pediment on brackets for each house, although No 12 features 20th-century dormer windows. The windows are 4-pane sash windows.

Steps that were originally flanked by scroll-design railings (which have been removed from No 12) lead up to square-headed doorways. These doorways have stucco doorcases with cornices on console brackets and feature two-panel doors with overlights. The forecourts originally had iron railings on dwarf walls, which have been removed from Nos 12 and 13. At No 12, these have been replaced by railings of Gothic quatrefoil design, similar to those at No 14.
