Description
No 8 Deer Park, also known as Flint House, is a terraced house with a stuccoed facade and a slate roof, featuring end stacks. It is three storeys high and has a two-window range, built as a pair with No 9, while the rest of the row consists of two-storey houses. The facade is framed by raised pilaster strips and has a band across the area beneath the parapet. There is a gabled dormer and 4-pane sash windows, with a door on the left accessed by steps and surrounded by railings with a scroll design, similar to those found on Frogmore Terrace and Croft Terrace. The square-headed doorways are set in stucco doorcases that include pilasters and cornices on console brackets. The door itself has two long panels and an overlight. The property features a dwarf forecourt wall and railings topped with fleur-de-lys finials. The rear wall is painted slate-hung with a parapet and dormer. The upper floor has two 4-pane sashes, while the first floor has a tripartite sash, and the ground floor includes a door with sidelights.
