Description
14 Tower Hill is a house located in a stepped terraced row, constructed with painted stucco and featuring a slate roof with red brick end stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three bays. Above the flat eaves, there are two flat-topped dormers that contain pairs of casement windows, although these have been replaced with uPVC glazing.
The main front of the house includes a later 19th-century two-storey canted bay on the left, which has plate glass sash windows and rounded angle shafts, along with moulded dentil cornices at both levels. The first floor center and both floors on the right side also feature plate glass sashes. The entrance consists of a 20th-century door in a Regency style, set within a timber doorcase that has a moulded architrave. This is flanked by thin outer piers that support long console brackets, framing a frieze and a shelf hood adorned with dentils below. The frieze is broad and fluted, and the reveals have flush panels, along with an iron bootscraper present at the entrance.
The interior has not been inspected.
