Description
Somerset House is a terraced house featuring unpainted roughcast and a close-eaved slate roof, with a brick stack on the left end. The building stands three storeys tall and is double-fronted. It has a central door flanked by two 9-pane hornless sash windows on the top floor, a 12-pane hornless sash window on the left side of the first floor, and a larger horned 4-pane sash window on the right side. The ground floor has 12-pane sash windows on both the left and right sides. The central doorcase is adorned with pilasters, a frieze, and a moulded cornice. The door itself is a 6-panel design with the upper four panels glazed and features a plain overlight above. At the rear, there is a rendered gabled wing with a 9-pane window in the gable end, and to the left side of the main range, there is a 9-pane upper window. The interior has not been inspected.
