Description
St Dominic's is a house that features whitewashed roughcast and Bridgwater-tile roofs. Originally designed in an L-plan, it has been altered to a T-plan. The flat-roofed porch is located at the angle of the house and includes an arched door with a small leaded lancet light on the left side wall. There is a single pointed window on the left wing of the house and a 4-pane sash window in the wall of the wing that is at right angles to the right. The left wing also has an end-wall stack. The garden front includes a gable on the left side and two ground-floor 4-pane sash windows. A 20th-century two-window wing has been added to the left.
Inside, the layout is simple with a three-room plan, where each room has an entry in a chamfered angle, allowing a short lobby from the front door to serve all three rooms. The board doors are present throughout. The kitchen features a small fireplace and two wall cupboards on the left.
