Description

The lime-kiln, located southeast of St Philomena's, is a Grade II listed structure built into an outcrop of land. It features walls made of rough rubble stone and has a two-sided design with a tall curved wall at an angle. There are large square openings on each side, each topped with a timber lintel. On the eastern side, a parapet is supported by a projecting shelf that extends from above the kiln-eye to the right end. The crucible of the kiln has been infilled.
