Description

Dol Teifi is a late 18th-century villa constructed of rubble stone with a deep-eaved hipped slate roof and rendered end stacks. The building has paired brackets to the eaves. It is designed in a late Georgian style, with a symmetrical two-storey, three-window front featuring large hornless 12-pane sash windows and a central doorway. The windows have stone voussoirs and slate sills. A large, enclosed timber porch with double half-glazed doors, side lights, and a row of four square panes above a frieze and cornice has been built onto the front. Cast-iron cresting tops the flat slate roof. A large slate floor slab underlies the porch.

Inside, a six-panel door with a six-pane overlight is present. The roof has terracotta ridge tiles to a short ridge. A narrow, horned sash window with marginal glazing bars is situated on the south side, facing the road, at both ground and first floor levels. The rear of the house has been extended, and the north side is windowless. Not inspected.
