Description
Fron Dolau is a substantial villa built in coursed rubble stone, featuring slate eaves roofs and stone paired end stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with an asymmetrical three-window front facing east. It has flat eaves and low gables with bargeboards, a raised plinth, and a raised band under the eaves. The main floors have 12-pane sash windows with stone voussoirs and slate sills.
The east front includes a projecting gabled section on the right with a small 4-pane window in the attic, while the rest of the facade has 12-pane sashes. The centre features an enclosed stone porch with stone angle pilasters, moulded capitals, an entablature, and a cornice. The porch has a small-paned window with an arch head and a 4-panel door on the south side.
The south front mirrors the east front, with a gable on the right that is two-window wide, while the left section has one window. There is a similar small window in the gable. The rear west side has a double-gable with end stacks, small attic windows, and a central stair light above a hipped porch that has a 12-pane front window and a door to the side.
Attached at right angles is a two-storey service range with a three-window layout, featuring a valley roof and paired west gables, along with four-pane sash windows.
