Description

Glyn Berws is a villa built from rubble stone, featuring a deep-eaved slate roof and large rendered stone end stacks. The eaves are supported by paired brackets, while the gable verges have single brackets. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range of 12-pane hornless sashes, which include stone voussoirs and slate sills, although the ground floor sills have been replaced with concrete. The central doorway is framed by stone voussoirs and has wood panelled reveals, with a 20th-century door. The north end of the villa has 12-pane sashes on the right side for both floors, and one on the left side for the first floor. The rear elevation is similar, also two storeys with a three-window arrangement of 12-pane sashes and a central door, which is part of a glazed addition. The rear features slate sills and stone voussoirs. The property is not available for inspection.
