Pendre and attached outbuilding

Pendre is a farmhouse dating back to the 18th century, featuring a service wing on the right and a lofted stable on the left, all covered by a single long roof. The building is constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and has a close-eaved slate roof, with three rendered brick chimneys.

The farmhouse is double-fronted and two-storey, showcasing two nine-pane sash windows under the eaves. On the ground floor, there is a longer nine-pane sash window to the left and a broad square 12-pane sash window to the right. A boarded door is located between the windows, closer to the left window. The ground floor features stone voussoirs and slate sills, with brick chimneys positioned to the left and right on the ridge.

The service range, which is continuous to the right, has a single doorway just to the right of the house chimney, followed by a similar nine-pane sash window on each floor and a brick stack at the right end. To the left of the house is a lofted cowshed or stable, which has a doorway to the left of a boarded window.

At the rear, there are three nine-pane sash windows on the first floor, a four-pane sash window on the ground floor of the house, and a nine-pane sash window for the service range.

The interior of the house has not been seen, but the cowshed features stone slab floors, with old roof beams, partitions, and feeding troughs for the animals.
