Description
The barn at Pendre Farm is a structure dating from after 1830. It is built of rubble stone and has a slate eaves roof. The barn has a full-height entry at the centre of each side, with two long ventilation loops flanking each entry. A remnant of a lean-to on the west side retains some dove-holes within the return wall to the right of the barn entry, and there are three vent loops in each gable end. A stone pier sits on either side of the barn entry on the east side. The roof features bolted pine trusses, typical of construction after 1830.
