Description

This is a road bridge located to the west of the Bedford Monument. It is constructed from rubble stone and features a single narrow arched opening. The downstream face of the arch is adorned with dressed stone voussoirs and a prominent long keystone, while the upstream face has rough voussoirs. The parapet on the downstream side has been lowered and capped in cement, whereas the parapet on the upstream side remains higher.
