Description

The ice house at Hafod is a structure that appears as a mound covered in undergrowth. It features a passage entry facing northeast, which has rubble revetments. The doorway is roughly constructed and pointed, set within a recess that includes a voussoired segmental head. Inside, there is a very deep crucible made of rubble, topped with a domical shape.
