Description
This is a five-bay, open-sided hay-barn, constructed of rubble and oriented east to west across a slope. The barn has a slate roof. The north and south elevations are similar, each featuring a tall, full-height central entry flanked by two large openings that extend to the eaves. These openings are divided by square rubble pillars and have sills formed of rubble copings set on a dripcourse. The gable ends each contain a triplet of ventilation loops. Inside, a sloping central passage runs the length of the barn, with raised platforms for hay storage on each side.
