Description
Islwyn is a small house built from colourwashed rubble stone, featuring a close-eaved slate roof and large colourwashed rubble end chimneys with dripstones and capstones. The house is two storeys high and has a double-fronted design that is significantly offset to the left, making the parlour side, located to the left of the door, very narrow. It has four 4-pane horned sash windows, with the upper two positioned under the eaves and square, longer windows on the ground floor, all equipped with rough slate sills. The door is situated closer to the left window and is positioned to the left of centre, with a stone slab lintel above it, as well as above the right-hand ground floor window. Both end walls of the house are windowless. At the rear, there is one ground floor square 4-pane horned sash window with a slate sill. There is no outshut. The property has not been inspected.
