Description
The barn range at the west end of the farmyard at Great Abbey Farm is a Grade II listed structure. It is built from rubble stone and features a slate close-eaved roof. This long building includes a barn on the left side and a lofted stable. The barn has full-height double doors located to the left of the center, along with a limestone vent loop to the left that may have been reused from the abbey. On the right side, there are two doorways with cut stone voussoirs, with the right doorway being slightly lower. Above the left door, there is a square loft opening with a wooden door. The right end wall is windowless. The rear of the barn has a door with stone voussoirs to the left and a lean-to in poor condition on the right. The building has not been inspected.
