Description
This is a single-storey outbuilding located to the south of Great Abbey Farmhouse. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a metal-sheet roof, along with a large square chimney at the southern end that has been rebuilt. The building has two windows facing the road and no windows in the end walls. At the rear right, there is a single window and a doorway with a timber lintel.
Attached to the southern end are the ruins of a three-bay cart-shed, which has stone and brick piers, though the roof has collapsed. The southern end of the outbuilding contains a large whitewashed fireplace, featuring a cambered lintel supported by an iron curved bar. The chimney breast steps up to the chimney, and there is a bread oven on the left side of the fireplace, along with a large wrought iron pot crane. The structure includes one bolted collar truss.
