Description

The cowhouse at the eastern end of the farmyard at Great Abbey Farm is a 19th-century structure built from rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. The west front features five doors with stone voussoirs. On the left end, there is a 20th-century brick lean-to and a loft window above. The rear of the building has a door on the right and an outshut with a roof that extends down. There is a boarded door on the north return. The east side includes a loop opening to the right and three pig-sties on the left, which have square-headed openings and walled yards in front. The building has not been inspected.
