Description

The former cottage and outbuilding at Storehouse Farm is located to the east of the main house and faces south. It is constructed of rubble stone and features slate close-eaved roofs. The structure consists of two parts: the western cottage, which has a large stone chimney at its west end, and an attached outbuilding to the east that has slightly lower eaves and ridge.

The single-storey cottage is double-fronted and offset to the right. It has a boarded door positioned to the right of the center, with a window on each side. To the left, there is a slightly larger kitchen window that is partly boarded and includes some fixed glazing, while a smaller casement window is located to the right. The windows have slate sills and stone slab lintels.

The eastern outbuilding features three doors interspersed with two small windows. The doors are adorned with stone voussoirs, although the left door is blocked. The windows are likely later additions.

Although not inspected, it is reported that the building retains a 'wicker' chimney, which refers to a lath and plaster chimney hood.
