Description
The outbuildings at Castle Green House Stable Yard are a range of structures built in rubble stone with slate roofs, dating from the 18th century. The buildings are arranged in an L-plan and are two stories high. The west range, which faces the street, features a gable end and includes a three-window range on the first floor, along with a window and loading door. The ground floor has a door, a window, and another door. The interior is derelict and has a collar truss roof.
To the right of the west range, there is a slightly recessed bay with superimposed cambered-head openings that connect to the north range, which also has three windows. The roof of the north range is a lean-to against the cliff face behind. It has smaller windows above with slate sills, and the center window is partially blocked. The ground floor features three doors, with the left door partially blocked, and a small square window to the right.
The stable yard is enclosed on the northeast and east sides by a rubble wall that includes two ashlar gate piers. The main range has a south end wall made of banded stone, which features one window on each floor.
