Description

Ty Castell is a house constructed from blue lias rubble stone, featuring a slate eaves roof and brick stacks at each end. The building stands two storeys tall and has a full height basement on the west and rear sides. The front facade has a three-window arrangement with 20th-century plate glass windows that have replaced the original sash windows. These windows have slate sills and timber lintels above the upper windows, with cambered stone heads also present above the centre doorway, which has a modern door. The house has a timber deep eaves cornice with mutules. The rear wall is stuccoed and includes 20th-century windows along with a 20th-century addition.
