Description
This is a house built from squared blue lias stone, featuring a slate roof, coped gables, and stone end stacks. The front of the house has three windows and is two storeys high, with a central attic pediment. It has deep bracketed eaves and similar brackets on the pediment, which includes a tripartite arched window. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows, with a central tripartite window consisting of four panes, twelve panes, and four panes, all featuring cut blue lias voussoirs and slate sills. On the ground floor, there are similar sashes on either side of a broad arched doorway, which has voussoirs, a ledged door with sidelights, and an elegant traceried fanlight. The stone end walls are windowless, while the rear wall is whitewashed and has a rear wing on the left side. To the right, there is a round arched stair light flanked by 12-pane sashes on each floor. The rear wing contains one 12-pane sash above, with a door and window below. There is also a lean-to on the east end. Inside, the entrance hall features a plaster rose and a stick baluster staircase.
