Description

Glenroy House is a pair of houses built from blue lias rubble stone, featuring an imitation slate roof and brick end stacks. The buildings are three stories high and have a four-window range. The right side has hornless sash windows, while the left side has hardwood replacements. The upper floor windows have six panes, and the first-floor windows have twelve panes, all with cambered heads, cut blue lias stone voussoirs, and slate sills. The eaves are bracketed.

On the ground floor, there are two central doors flanked by outer shop fronts. The left side has a late 20th-century shop window with a slate pent roof extending over the door. The right side features an original six-panel door with an overlight and a late 19th or early 20th-century shopfront that includes a plate glass window, a recessed door, and an overall fascia and cornice. Most of the ground floor has an original timber lintel.

The end walls are made of rubble stone, and the rear wall has four windows, with inner windows positioned at half-level to serve as stair lights.
