Description
The outbuilding located on the north side of the service yard at Camrose House is a Grade II listed structure. It is constructed from rubble stone and features slate roofs. This single-storey building has a long range, with the two end sections appearing to have been added later.
The right section includes a door on the east end wall situated between two vent loops, along with a square window in the gable apex, both featuring brick heads. The front wall is windowless at the extreme right, followed by a door with a four-pane overlight. The central stable area has a square six-pane window on each side of the door, all with brick cambered heads. To the left, there is a coach-entry with a broad cambered-arched brick head and double ledged doors. The left end section has a straight joint and one small side window. It also has a hipped end roof and a door with a cambered brick head.
Inside, the right end contains a loose box supported by 19th-century thin trusses in the roof. The second section also features a loose box. The central stable area includes four stalls, with two larger stalls separated by brick partitions on either side and two smaller stalls divided by a stop-chamfered post and partition. The floors are cobbled.
