Description
This building is an outbuilding located to the east of Lower Llancayo Farm, listed as a Grade II structure. It is a former stable constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and features a hipped slate roof. The stable is a single-storey structure with ten bays, displaying an alternating pattern of windows and doors that have cambered heads and brick voussoirs. The northeast return of the building ends in a brick northern gable, which adjoins an open-fronted timber range facing east, although this timber range is not included in the listing.
Inside, the floors are cobbled, and the roof is supported by tie-beam and collar trusses, with some connections being pegged and others bolted. The rear wall of the stable is made of red brick.
