Description
The outbuilding located immediately east of Camrose House is constructed of rubble stone and features a close-eaved slate roof. It has a red brick ridge stack and an external chimney breast on the left end, also with a red brick stack. The building is two storeys high and has five small square casement windows with brick heads above. Below, there are nine openings: a 12-pane sash window to the left, two doors, followed by two similar sash windows, another door, and finally a window flanked by close-set timber mullions on each side of a door. The right end wall includes a ground floor window.
At the rear, there are very large stone steps leading to a loft door, with a cambered-headed opening beneath the steps. To the left, there is a 6/6-pane horizontal sliding casement under the eaves and a ground floor window with a brick head. To the right, there is a tripartite window with a 2-6-2-pane configuration under the eaves, along with a low attached wing at right angles that has a massive ivy-clad stone end chimney. Each side of the building features one window with a brick head.
The ground floor is not available for inspection, but the loft rooms are plastered and include fireplaces, suggesting they were used for accommodation.
