Description
The boundary wall to Castle Green House is constructed from rubble stone and features back-sloping crenellation. It stands approximately 3 to 4 meters high and extends from the rear of No 42 Saint Mary's Street, along Carrier's Lane, and curves into The Strand, terminating at the entry to the service drive. A short section behind No 42 has been restored or rebuilt and includes a door leading to the rear yard. Further along, there is a panelled door that provides access to the garden of No 43. The wall measures about 70 meters in length to the service drive and shows evidence of having been heightened, with the crenellations added later.
