Description
The boundary wall enclosing the grounds to Cottage Green dates from 1615 and is located on the south and east sides. It is constructed of stone rubble and stands approximately 5 to 6 feet high, with a much higher section featuring rendered coping on the south side. The wall forms quadrant wings at the entrance, and the gates consist of pairs of uprights that are curved at the top. There are some breaches in the wall on the south side. This structure is contemporary with the house.
