Description
The wall and gate piers enclosing the churchyard of the Church of St James were built in the 19th century. The wall is made of stone rubble and features stone coping, standing approximately 4 feet 6 inches high on the northwest side. This side has an entrance flanked by stone gate piers and includes 19th century ironwork gates. The wall is lower on the northeast side, while it rises again on the southeast side. Additionally, there are buttresses that flank the steps near the southwest corner.
