Description

The retaining wall located in the Castle Green grounds to the east of the house is a Grade II listed structure. It features raking castellations along the east side of a steep rear access drive and is constructed from rubble stone, measuring approximately 50 meters in length. The castellations are similar to those found on the boundary wall along Carrier's Lane, which was built around 1906-1907. However, the line of this retaining wall is indicated on a map of Cardigan from 1834.
