Description

The retaining wall located to the north-west of Wray Castle is a Grade II listed structure. It extends approximately 37 meters from the entrance drive and curves to connect with the angle of the castle. The wall features weathered buttresses and has steps at each end. The buttress at the north-western end originally projected from an ornamental ruin that has since been demolished.
